113| SPRING BREAK 2025 PT 1

I’m back, I’m back lol. I took a mini break and went away with my son during his Spring Break. We went to Tampa to visit my best friend Xenia, his god mom. We flew out on Wednesday night after several delays and gate changes. But we made it to our destination safely and that’s all that matters! We arrived around 1 AM. My body was tired but my mind was awake lol.

The next day was HOT! And I was loving it! A decided that we’d have a pool day and we did just that. But first we went to get brunch at his choice. Denny’s! After we ate we headed home.

The car windows were low and the wind was blowing. My hair was tussled and here he is helping me fix it. Remember I try not to show his entire face on here.

We grabbed snacks and lounged in and out of the pool for hours. He was worn out! We went home and he tucked himself into bed after his shower and took a nap. I had to wake him up several times for dinner lol.

Omg. The food. The drinks. The company. Amazing!!! Definitely a place that I want to visit again! The food is made to order. The only frozen items on the menu are their French fries. I’m attempting on recreating my dish at home tonight. With my own little twist. Both A* and Xenia enjoyed their meals as well. A* raved about his burger.

Afterwards we went home and stayed up for a few hours talking and catching up.

Hey, hey! This past week was pretty uneventful lol. Just been laying low and living life. Nothing really to share other than some pictures. Hope you enjoy!

Whether that’s reading the first page of that book you’ve been meaning to read for months, or something as simple as taking the nap over going out. It’s important to make yourself a priority.
