The second day of our trip we went to have something to eat at Mellow Mushroom before meeting up with Xenia’s family at Dave and Buster’s. I wanted to see them and really wanted Xenia’s nephews and Adrian to finally meet! They’re close in age and figured this would be a good place to have them meet.

I wore this cute little red dress with some cut outs on the sides and back that I purchased from Lulu’s and some sandals. Xenia wore a white top with a button up and a leopard print skirt and some black flats. I realllllly loved my nails for the trip, they needed their own moment lol.

The food was pretty good. I had an avocado sub. A* had another burger (he got cut off after this outing lol more on that later), and Xenia ordered a pizza if I’m not mistaken. The food was good.

Afterwards we headed to Dave and Buster’s. The drive was pretty long. We arrived a little earlier than her family so we went into the Bass Shop next door. We walked around and saw some fish. While inside A* started to complain that he was not feeling well. I accompanied him into the bathroom where he vomited. A* gets overheated easily, and gets nauseated with it. After he threw up two times we went into the car and sat in the AC while he took a few mins to recover. I was worried that we’d have to cancel but he drank some water and relaxed and recovered. Off we were.

The kids took some time to warm up to each other lol, they just wanted to do their own thing. Finally we got them playing games together and just let them be. Of course keeping an eye on them. It was pretty full. I got to play some games as well. A* used most of his points to get me a Grumpy Care Bear. I saw it and it made me laugh. I cuddle it to sleep now lol. I also got to see her family! It had been 10 years since I had last seen them. We took several pictures together and pictures of the boys together. Overall it was a great day!
